The high-end model of the SMB-02 series, developed and based on the concept of reproducing studio near-field monitors in headphones.
PHONON’s original 4-core cable + shield is inserted into both the left and right sides of the cables to optimise the signal path. By completely separating the left and right grounds, the left and right common impedance interference is reduced.
An XLR 4-core connector model is also available as an option.

How to use
Connect to a music player and use.
The headphones are not distorted even when the volume is turned up, but please enjoy them at a moderate volume to protect your ears.

Please be careful not to pinch your fingers between the parts.
Do not disassemble or modify the product.
Do not give a strong shock.
Always handle the cord by the plug to prevent breakage and accidents.

The ear pads will deteriorate with use and storage, affecting the sound quality of the headphones. For best sound quality, we recommend that you replace the pads regularly.

- The SMB-03 based, mixed L-R channels mono DJ stick headphone with a comfortable natural rubber sponge stick and a long curl cord. Perfect for extended DJ sets.
- * When using the 03 Stick with a DJ mixer with split cue function, the cue channel and the master channel will be mixed together as your output. Please check your DJ mixer.

After more than 10 years of research, we have finally arrived at a handmade Japanese speaker with the highest level of sound quality. The speakers are equipped with a balanced input for professional use and Bluetooth for versatility.
Full-range speakers use 3-inch paper cones and neodymium magnets for high resolution and natural sound quality. The horn mechanism is machined from wood to achieve a natural spaciousness.
The amplifier section is a high quality sound design with a proprietary BTL system and frame grounding. The combination of parts selected through repeated listening tests reproduces even the joy of music with the best sound quality beyond its class.
The ML-1 was completed after a thorough trial and error process to reproduce the sound of the SMB-02, which has received the highest acclaim in the world, on speakers, and the ML-2 has been further upgraded and priced down after continued trial and error.

The PHONON MUSICLIFE is a great referencing tool in the studio when you want to shift away from NS10’s or your main reference monitors. Although it has a similar shape to an actual boombox, the fidelity of sound is surprisingly good, and the added bluetooth functionality is pretty handy as well – no cables required!
